The CaloMalo app is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about our users. By using CaloMalo, you can be assured that your data remains private and secure, as we do not access or store any information that could personally identify you.

Information Collection

CaloMalo does not request, collect, or store any personal data, such as names, email addresses, or location information. However, for the purpose of managing subscriptions, anonymized data related to transactions may be processed. CaloMalo relies on secure, trusted services to process any necessary purchase-related data.

HealthKit Data

If you choose to have CaloMalo integrate with HealthKit then the application will have access only to the health data types you opt-in to access. CaloMalo requests permission to write certain data types into your HealthKit data store. These are used to record the duration and quality of your cardio workouts. The data read from HealthKit is used solely within the app. It is not collected or disclosed outside of your local installation of the the app. Only those data types relevant to the app are accessed. The data read is used to analyze and verify the heart rate data saved to the HealthKit store. In no case is your personal data ever transfered to a 3rd party. It is only ever kept within the application container of CardioBot or transfered to your personal HealthKit data store as per your permission choices.
